SPRING 2024 KIDS’ CLUBS SCHEDULE
Kids’ Clubs sessions will begin Thursday, March 14, and run for 10 weeks on Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. This schedule may be subject to change based on BCPS calendar updates. Limited spots are available. Please request financial assistance prior to March 1.
SPRING 2024 CLUB OFFERINGS
Chess Club (grades 3-5) Mike Ruppert ***FULL***
Welcome to the Chess Club! We will learn all about rules and strategy while playing fun and exciting games of chess. If you have ever wanted to learn how to play chess, this is the club for you.
Fiber Arts Club (grades 2-5) Lydia Cardwell
Learn about what fiber arts are and what you can do with them! We will explore spinning, weaving, and crocheting (and maybe more). Come make stuff with yarn!
*No class April 11; makeup date May 30
In Our Friendship Era Club (grades 2-5) Mrs. Hopkins
Make bracelets. Share friendship! Join Mrs. Hopkins as we enter our “Friendship Era” together. We’ll learn how to make various types of friendship bracelets and extend friendship to brighten the days of others in the Catonsville community. Dogs? Seniors? Everyone can use a little friendship!
Soccer Club (grades 2-5) Sande Hipszer
Do you like the game of soccer? Join us for an hour of fun with other kids at WES who like soccer, too! We'll go over the game, learn some specific soccer skills, scrimmage and in general, have fun!
*Students will need to bring their own shin guards.
